Sacrament of Baptism (Binyag)

Baptism is a sacred sacrament that marks the beginning of a person’s journey in the Christian faith. At Sto. Niño de Taguig Parish, we welcome families to celebrate this important milestone with us.

Procedures

Please prepare the required documents and submit them to the parish office on time to ensure smooth processing.

Requirements

Basic Requirements

Requirement/s:

1. PSA or Certified True Copy of Child's Birth Certificate from Local Civil Registry.

• Dalhin ang original at photocopy. Photocopy lamang ang ipapasa sa simbahan.

2. Valid ID with address as proof of residency.

If Non-Parishioner:

• Baptismal Permit from your parish.
• Ito po ay maaaring kuhain sa inyong parokya/simbahan na nakakasakop sa inyong lugar.

Special Cases

Additional Requirement for Adult Baptism

2 yrs old and above:

If the child is 2-4 years old

• Get 3 certificates of No Record of Baptism.

If the child is 5-6 years old

• With a seminar every Sunday (1 session only of Catechesis).

If the child is 7 years old & above

• With a seminar of 1 month every Sunday, total of 4 Sundays, starting on the first Sunday of the month.

Note: Magpakita lang ng Birth Certificate sa opisina ng parokya para malaman kung saang Simbahan maaaring kumuha ng mga Certificate of No Record of Baptism.

Included: Baptismal Garb, Rites, Candles, and 1 pair of Principal Sponsor.

Additional Sponsors: 50 pesos per head.

Weekday Baptism

Baptism (Tuesday to Saturday)

Rate: ₱ 1,000.00 pesos

Included: Baptismal Garb, Rites, Candles, and 1 pair of Principal Sponsor. Additional Sponsors: 50 pesos per head.

Note:

• Mag-file po ng mga requirements 1 linggo bago ang araw ng binyag.
• Ang pagkuha po ng Baptismal Certificate ay dalawang buwan pagkatapos ang araw ng binyag. Tuwing Martes hanggang Sabado ang pagkuha at may kaukulang bayad na P100 pesos. Magdala po lamang ng ID ang magulang. Kapag hindi magulang ang kukuha ay magdala ng authorization letter ng magulang at ID ng inutusan.
