Sto. Niño de Taguig Parish

Parish Devotions

Devotions are a cherished part of Catholic life, helping the faithful deepen their relationship with God through prayer, reflection, and love for the saints. At Sto. Niño de Taguig Parish, we embrace devotional practices that reflect the rich spiritual heritage of the Filipino Catholic community.

Colossians 3:23-24

“Whatever your task, work heartily, as serving the Lord and not men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you are serving the Lord Christ.”

Sto. Niño devotion

Sto. Niño

Devotion to the Santo Niño is one of the most beloved traditions in the Philippines. The image of the Holy Child, often portrayed as regal and joyful, reminds us of both the innocence and kingship of Christ. Our parish celebrates the Feast of Sto. Niño every third Sunday of January with a grand procession, novena prayers, and festive Mass. Parishioners are also encouraged to bring their images of the Santo Niño for blessing.

Our Mother of Perpetual Help

Devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help is deeply rooted in Filipino Catholic life. Every Wednesday, our parish holds novena prayers and Mass in her honor. This devotion includes hymns, prayers, and the veneration of the miraculous icon. Many of the faithful turn to Our Blessed Mother for comfort, guidance, healing, and help in their personal intentions.

Divine Mercy

The Divine Mercy devotion, inspired by St. Faustina Kowalska, proclaims God’s boundless mercy and love for all. Our parish observes the Divine Mercy Chaplet every Friday at 3:00 PM, the Hour of Great Mercy. This devotion includes prayer, reflection on Christ’s Passion, and trust in God’s compassionate heart. Divine Mercy Sunday, celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter, remains a special day of grace and renewal.

Simbang Gabi

Simbang Gabi

Simbang Gabi is a cherished Filipino tradition of nine dawn Masses leading up to Christmas. Celebrated from December 16 to 24, these Masses prepare the faithful spiritually for the birth of Christ. The joyful atmosphere, festive decorations, and beloved Filipino Christmas hymns make Simbang Gabi a beautiful expression of faith, hope, and anticipation.

Flores de Mayo

Flores de Mayo

Flores de Mayo, or Flowers of May, is a month-long Marian devotion honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary. Throughout May, parishioners gather to offer flowers, pray the Rosary, and join Marian processions. The devotion culminates in the Santacruzan, a colorful and meaningful procession that commemorates the finding of the True Cross by St. Helena.

Parish Prayer Life

Growing in Faith Together

Through these devotions, our parish continues to nurture a prayerful community rooted in Christ, enriched by tradition, and inspired by the witness of the saints. We invite every family and parishioner to take part in these sacred expressions of faith.
