Eternal Rest: Building Our New Ossuary
A sacred initiative that seeks to provide a dignified, prayerful, and lasting resting place for the remains of our departed loved ones.

Objectives of the Project
- Fundraising for the New Parish Church: To help raise funds for building the new Sto. Niño de Taguig Parish Church through the construction of this ossuary.
- Providing a Sacred Resting Place: To respond to the requests of parishioners and families seeking a decent, sacred, and nearby resting place for their departed loved ones.
- Supporting Diocesan Programs: To help the Roman Catholic Bishop of Pasig, Inc. in implementing various diocesan programs.
Through this project, we seek to honor the memory of those who have passed on and provide a tranquil sanctuary for prayer and reflection.

Operating Guidelines & Procedures
Important information on ownership, management, usufruct rights, donation structure, and operational policies.
The Church Ossuary is located within the premises of Sto. Niño de Taguig Parish, Signal Village, Taguig City. It is owned by the Roman Catholic Bishop of Pasig, Inc. and managed by the Memorial Department of the Diocese.
This Ossuary offers a Usufruct Right that is renewable, transferable, and assignable. It is open to Roman Catholics who wish to have a sacred place for the remains of their loved ones where they can honor and memorialize the dead.

- Sto. Niño de Taguig Ossuary: A combination of an ossuarium and columbarium that houses a total of 4,644 vaults.
- Vault for an Ossuary: An enclosed chamber designed to hold an ossuary, where the bones or ashes of deceased individuals are stored after the bodies have decomposed.
- Usufruct: A legal concept that grants a person, called the usufructuary, the right to use and enjoy the benefits or fruits of someone else's property without owning it.
- Donor: The usufructuary who opted to offer a donation to use the vault of the ossuary.
- Donation: The offering, not a payment, by the Donor to usufruct a vault.
Basic Policies
- Usufruct Rights to a vault of ossuaries are for perpetual use, with an initial coverage of thirty (30) years.
- A Maintenance Care Fund is intended for maintenance, operating expenses, and depreciation of the building. It is 25% of the vault’s full donation.
- Usufruct Rights are renewable after thirty years with a donation depending on the future value of the building.
- Usufruct Rights are transferable and assignable.
- Each vault can hold 4 urns, or 1 skeletal human remains and 2 urns of cremated human remains.
Vault Levels and Donation Tables
The donor may choose a preferred vault from available slots according to level and full donation.
5. There is no limit to the number of vaults that a donor can select provided that names of the intended beneficiaries are specified on the Pledge of Donation.
6. The selection of a preferred vault is on a First Come, First Served basis, and confirmation shall be determined by the Ossuary Management Information System.
7. An offering of a reservation fee of at least P5,000 and submission of the corresponding Reservation Slip entitles the Donor or Reservee to hold the preferred vault for two (2) weeks. After that, the vault will be considered open to be offered to another interested Donor or Reservee. The Reservation Fee is non-refundable but may be applied to another vault for another two (2) weeks; otherwise, it shall be considered a donation to the Church.
8. A vault will be officially assigned to a donor upon submission of the pledge of donation and, in case of a cash scheme, tendering of full donation, or in case of an installment scheme, tendering of initial offering.
Offering Scheme
10. On the third year, the value of the Full Donation will be increased by 20% and succeeding valuation shall be done periodically to consider the cost of money and inflation rate.
11. The mode of offering can either be cash or post-dated check.
12. An Agreement to Usufruct Rights shall be signed by Donor and the Director of the Memorial Department. A copy of this agreement together with the Offering Schedule shall be provided to the Donor.
13. A one-time appreciation of Php 3,000.00 may be granted per family of a parish servant who has served at least one year and taken a Pledge of Commitment, subject to due validation.
